Clarkson PLC12 December 2005 CLARKSON PLC Channel Freight Ferries Closes Service Clarkson PLC ("Clarksons"), the world's leading shipping services group, todayannounces that their wholly owned subsidiary Channel Freight Ferries Limited ("CFF") will be ceasing its daily Southampton- Radicatel sailings on December 162005. It is estimated that CFF's operating loss for the year to 31 December 2005 willbe circa £2.5million before exceptional costs arising from its closure. The vessel presently used on the service, the MV "CFF Seine", will bere-deployed.
