Changes to the Board

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11 Micro Focus International plc ("Micro Focus" or "the Group", LSE: MCRO.L, NYSE: MFGP), the international software product group, advises the following change to the Board.

After 11 years on the Board, Karen Slatford has informed the Board that she will be stepping down as a Director of the Board with effect from the conclusion of the Company's annual general meeting on 30 March 2022.

Karen has given outstanding and invaluable support and commitment to Micro Focus over the years, latterly as Senior Independent Director, Chair of the ESG Committee and a member of both the Audit and Nomination Committees, which has been very much appreciated. No decision has yet been taken on who will be succeeding Karen as Senior Independent Director and a further announcement will be made in due course. The Board wishes to thank Karen for all of her invaluable work. In light of this, Karen Slatford consequently will not be seeking re-election at the forthcoming AGM.
