Changes to Corporate Sustainability Committee

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, Antofagasta plc (the "Company") announces that, as of 22 August 2011, the Corporate Sustainability Committee of the Board is comprised as follows:
• Mr. Ramon Jara (chairman);
• Mr. Timothy Baker; and
• Mr. Juan Claro.
Mr. Jean-Paul Luksic and Mr. Gonzalo Menéndez therefore rotate off the Corporate Sustainability Committee.
