Changes in the Management Board of JSC Halyk Bank

Joint Stock Company "Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" ("Halyk Bank" or the "Bank") (LSE: HSBK) hereby announces the following changes in the Management Board of Halyk Bank:

1. Mr. Marat Satubaldin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank responsible for retail banking and small-sized enterprises, resigned since 19 June 2010 in accordance with the Resolution of the Bank's Board of Directors #125 dated 21 June 2010,  

2. Mr. Marat Almenov has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank responsible for retail banking in accordance with the Resolution of the Bank's Board of Directors #128 dated 23 June 2010,

3. Mr. Stanislav Kosobokov has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank responsible for SME banking in accordance with the Resolution of the Bank's Board of Directors #128 dated 23 June 2010.

On 10 August 2010, candidatures of Mr. Marat Almenov and Mr. Stanislav Kosobokov have been approved to the positions of top managers by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation and supervision of financial market and financial organizations (Minutes #321 and #322 dated 10 August 2010).

Mr. Marat Almenov started his career in 1997 at Halyk Bank. From 1997 to 2003, he held various positions in Corporate Lending Department, Credit Risks Department and SME Department. In 2003, he served as Deputy Director responsible for retail banking in Astana regional branch of Halyk Bank. From 2004 to 2009, he was Deputy Director of Retail Sales Department, Director of Retail Sales Support Department, Director of Banking Products and Agency Services Department. In April 2009, he was appointed as Director of Almaty regional branch of the Bank. Mr. Almenov is an economics graduate of the Kazakh State Academy of Management.

Mr. Stanislav Kosobokov started his career in 2000 in the Operational Division of Almaty branch of Kazkommertsbank. In 2002, he joined Halyk Bank and worked as a manager and then senior manager of Retail Sales Department, head of Coordination of sales channels division of Retail Sales Department. In 2006, he was appointed as Director of Retail Sales Department. Mr. Kosobokov is an economics graduate of the Kazakh State Academy of Management.
