Change to Registrar Services

5th Sep 2006 07:02

Turbo Power Systems Inc05 September 2006 Tuesday 5th September 2006 Turbo Power Systems announces change to registrar services Turbo Power Systems Inc ('the Company') announced today that it has appointedComputershare Investor Services PLC to administer its UK shareholder records. Itis anticipated that the change will lead to quicker and simpler settlement oftrades for both CREST members and retail shareholders of the Company as well asgiving improved visibility of share trading. With effect from 4th September 2006, settlement in CREST will be arrangedthrough a Depositary Interest with Computershare rather than the previously heldCrest Depositary Interest. This will allow CREST members to transfer Commonstock from Canada into a depositary interest position within CREST (the UK), bysimply inputting a stock deposit in the usual way, with the appropriate cover.Similarly, a standard stock withdrawal will be deemed to constitute aninstruction to cancel the depository interest and effect a transfer of theCommon stock back to the Canadian register. Computershare Trust Company of Canada already administer the company's Canadianshareholder records and the Canadian register of Common shares is unaffected bythe change. Shareholders who have any questions on the changes should contact Computershareon +44 (0) 870 703 1515.
