Weatherly International PLC08 September 2006 Weatherly International plc (the "Company") 8 September 2006 Change of Accounting Reference Date The Directors of Weatherly International plc announce that with effect from 30June 2006, they have changed the Company's accounting year end reference dateend to 30 June from December 31. This has been changed to better alignWeatherly's internal accounting year ends following the acquisition of OngopoloMining and Processing. As a consequence of this change, the Company will release its preliminaryresults for the six month period ended 30 June 2006 no later than 31 October2006 and the reports and audited financial statements for this period will besent to shareholders by 30 November 2006. The Company's interim result for thesix month period ended 31 December 2006 will be released no later than 31 March2007.
