Announcement on Change of Venue of the 2020 Annual General Meeting

Reference is made to the notice (the "AGM Notice") of the 2020 annual general meeting (the "AGM") of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC") dated 23 April 2021. Unless the context otherwise requires, the terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the AGM Notice.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") hereby announces that, considering the current epidemic prevention and control, and other work arrangements of the Company, pursuant to the Articles of Association and other relevant requirements, the venue of the AGM is hereby changed to Grand Millennium Shanghai HongQiao (address: 2588 West Yan'an Road, Shanghai, China). The Company apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused to the investors, and would be grateful for investors' understanding.

Save as the change of venue of the AGM, the information set out in the Notice, including the date and time of the AGM and the resolutions to be considered at the AGM, remains unchanged.
