Change of ownership

EDF Energy Networks (EPN) plc, issuer of £350,000,000 5.75 per cent. Notes due 2024, £200,000,000 8.75 per cent. Notes due 2012, £200,000,000 8.50 per cent. Notes due 2025 and £350,000,000 6.00 per cent. Senior Unsecured Notes due 2036, advises that its ultimate shareholder has changed from EDF S.A. to a consortium of Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited, Li Ka Shing (Overseas) Foundation, Hongkong Electric Holdings Limited and Li Ka Shing Foundation Limited ("Cheung Kong Group"). This follows the completion today of the sale of EDF Energy plc's and CSW Investments' shares in their British electricity distribution networks business to the Cheung Kong Group.
