Change of Name

HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited (the "Company") held an extraordinary general meeting on 10 November 2010, at which shareholders voted in favour of a resolution proposing that the Company change its name to HICL Infrastructure Company Limited, contingent upon termination of the trademark licence which currently allows the Company to use the HSBC name.

The Company has now received notice of termination of the licence, and therefore announces that its name will change to HICL Infrastructure Company Limited with effect from Tuesday 29 March 2011.

The Company will make a further announcement when this change of name takes place.
