Kesa Electricals plc - change of name to Darty plc

The Board of Kesa Electricals plc (the "Company") is pleased to confirm that the Company has changed its name to Darty plc with immediate effect. The name change acknowledges the recognition of the Darty brand in France, with a concept built on the strength of its service to customers. We continue to roll out this concept across our other markets and local brands.

The company number 04232413 remains the same and it is anticipated that trading under the new name will become effective from 07.00 BST 1 August 2012. The dealing code for the Company will change from "KESA" to "DRTY" as from that date.

New share certificates will not be issued, and the existing share certificates remain in full force and effect.
