NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME

United Drug plc ('the Company') is pleased to announce that, further to shareholder approval received at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 9 August 2013, the Company's name has been changed to UDG Healthcare plc.

The Company's website has been amended to reflect the change of name and the website address is now www.udghealthcare.com.

The Company's TIDM ('ticker') on the London Stock Exchange will remain as UDG.

All share certificates remain valid. As and when future transactions take place, share certificates will be issued in the name of UDG Healthcare plc.

A copy of the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
