Change of NameHenderson Alternative Strategies Trust plc (formerly Henderson Value Trust plc) (the "Company")Following the approval of shareholders at the General Meeting on 19 June 2015 and the issuance of a Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name by the Registrar of Companies, the Company's name has now changed from Henderson Value Trust plc to Henderson Alternative Strategies Trust plc.

The trading symbol (or TIDM) for the Company's Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange will also change to HAST to reflect its new name, with effect from 8.00am on 23 June 2015.

The ISIN of the Company's ordinary shares (GB0001216000) will remain the same.

New share certificates in the name of Henderson Alternative Strategies Trust plc will not be issued in respect of existing Ordinary Shares held in certificated form. Shareholders should therefore retain their existing share certificates which will continue to be valid.
