Change of Name

Berendsen plc ("the Company").

(formerly The Davis Service Group Plc)

CHANGE OF NAME

In our Interim Management Statement published on 2 November 2010, we stated our intention to change the Company's name. The Board of Directors has approved the name change from The Davis Service Group Plc to Berendsen plc and a Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name has been issued by the Registrar of Companies.

It is expected that trading in shares under the new name Berendsen plc, will start at the commencement of trading on 5 January 2011; our London Stock Exchange TIDM (ticker) will also change to "BRSN".

In addition, the Company's website address will be amended to reflect the change of name, the new address will be www.berendsen.com.
