Result of General Meeting and Change of Name to U and I Group PLC

Development Securities PLC announces that following a General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, a Resolution was passed to change the name of the Company to U and I Group PLC (to be known as U+I). The change of Company name has now become effective at Companies House.

Trading in the Company's shares under the new name and under a new TIDM ('ticker') 'UAI' (previously 'DSC') will take effect from 8:00am on Friday 6 November 2015.

All share certificates, representing those Ordinary Shares in certificated form, in the name of Development Securities PLC will remain valid. As and when transactions take place in shareholdings going forward, share certificates will be issued in the name of U and I Group PLC.

With effect from Monday 9 November 2015 the registered office and trading address of the Company will change from Portland House, Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5DS to 7A Howick Place, London SW1P 1DZ.
