Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) ("Base Resources") advises that it has today received the following notification.

Hunter Hall Investment Management Limited has notified the company that its interest in Base Resources’ total shares on issue has decreased from 17.60% to 16.34%. This decrease of 9,379,890 shares consisted of the disposal of 869,285 shares during January 2017 at an average price of approximately A$0.225 per share and a reduction of 8,510,605 shares due to a change in associates.
