KEFI Minerals plc (the "Company") Change of interest

The Company today announces it has received notification that pursuant to the placing of 6,000,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), announced on 27 September 2007 (the "Placing"), City Equities Limited had acquired 5,218,750 Ordinary Shares in the Company (being 4% of the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue after completion of the Placing and 4% of the total voting rights of the Company following the Placing).

At the same time, the Company received notification that City Equities Limited had subsequently disposed of 5,218,750 Ordinary Shares to its private clients.

City Equities Limited no longer holds any Ordinary Shares in the Company.
