Appointment of Director

ILX Group plc (AiM: ILX), the AIM quoted provider of e-learning software and business training, announces the appointment of Damien John Patrick Lane, aged 43, of Octopus Ventures, as a non-executive director. He is a highly experienced Venture Capital and Private Equity professional with over 16 years' experience in the industry. He replaces Chris Allner, who has resigned from the board, having left Octopus Ventures.

Mr Lane currently holds the following directorships/partnerships:

Cognetas Investments LLP

Frankis Solutions Limited

KeTech Group Ltd

LEEC Holdings Limited

Project Tristar Limited

SO Events Group Limited

T4 Holdings Limited

Sparring Partners Limited

During the past 5 years, Mr Lane has also held directorships or partnerships at the following companies: Cognetas LLP, Kaleidoscope Travel Group Limited, NI Holdings I Limited and NI Holdings II Limited. Mr Lane was also a director at NI Holdings III Limited which entered administration on 25 June 2009, six months after he resigned from the company. KeTech Group Limited, a company of which Mr Lane is currently a director, is at present operating under a CVA, entered into on 10 August 2010.

There are no other matters required to be reported pursuant to Schedule Two (g) of the AIM rules.
