Change of Company Name

W Resources Plc (AIM:WRES) (formerly Caspian Holdings Plc (AIM:CSH)) announces that further to the AGM held on 22 June 2012, shareholders have approved a change of name to W Resources Plc. The directors have completed the process of a change of name with immediate effect. The Company's Ordinary shares will commence trading on AIM under the new name effective from 12 July 2012 with the new ticker symbol WRES.  

It should be noted that original share certificates will remain valid and shareholders will not be issued with new shares certificates.

Commenting on the name change, Michael Masterman, Chairman said: "The name change marks another important milestone in the Company's revised strategy and shift into the mining sector. W Resources represents the new company that we have become and our vision to develop into a mid-tier minor metals producer."

In accordance with AIM Rule 26, corporate information continues to be available on the Company's website www.caspianoil.co.uk and will be available from the Company's new website at www.wresources.co.uk from 12 July 2012.
