Change of Auditors
As is good corporate governance practice, the Board decided to conduct a periodic review of the group's audit arrangements, and put the audit out to tender. Having seen presentations from four tendering firms, including Ernst &Young LLP ("E&Y"), it was decided to appoint KPMG Audit Plc ("KPMG") as auditors. KPMG is one of the "Big 4" global accounting firms.
Accordingly, Alumasc announces that E&Y has resigned as auditors to the Company.
A resolution for shareholders to ratify the appointment of KPMG will be put to the Company's next AGM to be held in October this year.
