Change of auditor

Hargreaves Lansdown plc ("Hargreaves Lansdown" or the "Company") announces that the Board have recommended the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditor of the Hargreaves Lansdown group for the 2014 financial year.

The decision was taken following a rigorous tender process and a recommendation from the Audit Committee. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the 2013 Annual General Meeting to be held on 25 October 2013.

Deloitte LLP has been the Company auditor since appointment in 2006. The Board of Hargreaves Lansdown would like to thank Deloitte LLP for the high quality of the audit services provided.
