Change of Auditor
Stobart Group Limited ("the Company") announces that the Board has appointed KPMG Audit Plc ("KPMG") as auditor for the Company. Having engaged Ernst & Young LLP ("Ernst & Young") as the Company's auditor since 2002, the Board, on the recommendation of the Audit Committee, decided that it was appropriate to put the Company audit out to competitive tender. The tender process was initiated in May 2012 and following formal proposals and presentations from three firms, KPMG was successful in this process. Ernst & Young has consequently resigned as auditor of the Company.
