BG Group plc ("BG Group") announces that the Board of BG Group have appointed Ernst & Young LLP as auditor of BG Group for the 2013 financial year. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the BG Group 2013 Annual General Meeting to be held on 23 May 2013.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP have been BG Group's auditors since its incorporation. The Board of BG Group would like to thank PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for the high quality of the audit services provided.
