DCD Media plc (the "Company")
Change of accounting reference date
DCD Media plc announces that it has changed its accounting reference date ("ARD") from 30 June to 31 December with immediate effect.
As announced on 31 March 2010 in its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2009, the Board believes it is appropriate to change the Company's ARD in order to more efficiently account for contracts, in both Production and Distribution that, for accounting purposes, fall between the months of June and July. An ARD of 31 December therefore more appropriately reflects the Company's business cycle.
As a result of the change of ARD, the Company's reporting calendar will be as follows:
o Unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2010 will be published by 30 September 2010.
o Audited accounts for the eighteen months ending 31 December 2010 will be published by 30 April 2011.
Thereafter, interim and annual reports will be published each year, for the six months to 30 June and twelve months to 31 December respectively, in accordance with the AIM Rules for Companies.
