Change of Accounting Reference Date

Dating of Annual General Meeting

Hampson Industries PLC (the "Company") announces that it has today taken the opportunity (provided by the Companies Act 2006) to change its accounting reference date from 31 March to 30 September.

The new accounting reference date will have effect in relation to the Company's previous accounting reference period (which would have ended on 31 March 2012 and which will now end on 30 September 2012) and in relation to subsequent periods.

No accounts will be published for the period ended 31 March 2012 (and the next Annual General Meeting of the Company will now fall to be held by no later than 31 March 2013).
