Copper Resources Corp would like to draw attention to the announcement released yesterday by Central African Mining & Exploration Company plc ("CAMEC") that CAMEC has acquired a notifiable interest in 7,125,000 shares in the Company, and pursuant to a share purchase agreement is expected to complete this week on the acquisition of a further 11,027,500 shares in the Company.

Following these two acquisitions, CAMEC will hold in aggregate a notifiableinterest in the Company of 18,152,500 common shares, or 21.13% of the Company'sissued share capital.
