Costain Group PLC13 July 2005 Costain Group PLC (the "Company" or "Costain") Costain announces that it has been notified on 12 July 2005 that Artemis UKGrowth Fund has increased its shareholding in the Company to 13,538,274 ordinaryshares equivalent to 3.83% of the issued share capital. The date on which thetransaction was effected is not known.
