Change in Directorate

The Company announces today that Non-Executive Directors Mark Bernstein and Tony Bogod will be stepping down from the Board at the AGM on the 19th May 2011. This is consistent with the Board's long term planning for succession.

Mark joined the Board in 2001. He has brought strong Strategic Management, IT and CRM skills to the business and has seen it through a number of complex and challenging restructures and is stepping down having completed over 9 years on the Board. Tony joined the Board in 2007 and has chaired the Audit Committee since January 2009. He has brought a wealth of financial and retail experience to the business and is stepping down due to a recent increase in his other business commitments.

They have both had a significant influence in the simplifying and refocusing of the business around the core Moss brand."

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan Portman as Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1stth July 2011. He will become Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Bryan has been Finance Director of a number of retail and Financial Service businesses. He has a broad commercial background in multi-site, retail businesses, with a strong skill set in strategic management, corporate finance and IT. His most recent executive role was as Chief Financial Officer of the Co-Operative Group and prior to joining the Co-operative Group was Chief Executive at Britannic Group plc. He was the interim chief financial officer at Moss Bros for a period of three months in 2010, so is familiar with the business. He is also a trustee and honorary treasurer for Family Action charity.

He has considerable experience of working with businesses and finance functions of multi-brand, multi-site operations, in turn around situations. We believe his experience will allow him to make an immediate contribution to the Company and to the pace of progress."

Bryan Portman said;

"I look forward very much to joining the Board. Much progress has been made with the turnaround of the business and I believe that there is considerable potential to grow the business as the most admired destination for Men's formalwear."

There are no further disclosures required pursuant to paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority in relation to the appointment of Bryan Portman.
