Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') wishes to notify that Bruce Carnegie-Brown, an independent non-executive director of the Company and also of Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC, will be appointed Chairman of the Board of Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC at the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting on 23 April 2014.

This announcement is made pursuant to the Company's obligations under Listing Rule 9.6.14R (1).
