NOTICE OF CHANGE TO DIRECTOR DETAILS

Drax advises that Mike Grasby, a non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed as a non-executive director of OPG Power Ventures plc to take effect from 30 May 2008.

Mr Grasby is also currently a director of Strategic Dimensions Technical Limited and a member of the British Electricity Association and the World Energy Council.

There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
