Change in composition of Board of Directors
Vietnam Infrastructure Limited (the 'Company' or 'VNI') (VNI.L), the first publicly traded fund to focus on infrastructure assets in Vietnam, announces today the following changes to the composition of the Company's Board of Directors:
·; Mr Don Lam has resigned as a Non-executive Director of the Company
·; Mr. Albert Theodore ('Ted') Powers has joined as a Non-executive Director of the Company
Mr Lam is the CEO of the Company's Investment Manager, and has served as Director since the Company's inception in 2007. He served as Chairman of the Company until Mr Paul Cheng was appointed to this role in 2009.
Mr Powers is a noted lawyer, investor, and business executive, with over 35 years of professional experience in a vast range of corporate, commercial, finance, and tax matters. He also serves as Non-executive Director of the owner of the Company's Investment Manager.
Commenting on the change in Board composition, Mr Paul Cheng, Chairman of the Company, said: "The Board is pleased to welcome Ted, given his vast experience with investments across China and the Southeast Asia region. We thank Don for his service to the Company."

Albert Theodore ('Ted') Powers
Albert Theodore 'Ted' Powers, aged 58, is a noted senior lawyer, investor, and business executive, with over 35 years of professional experience in a vast range of corporate, commercial, finance, and tax matters. He has particular expertise in investment transactions in Greater China and Southeast Asia, and has resided in Hong Kong for the past 28 years. Mr. Powers is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Allied Pacific Group, a diversified investment and advisory group. Before becoming a full-time investment professional, Mr. Powers practiced law in New York City, San Francisco, and Hong Kong. He served as Asian Managing Partner for several of the world's leading law firms, including Shearman & Sterling, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is admitted to practice law in Hong Kong and in various states and federal courts in the United States, including the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Denver; a Masters in Business Administration from Imperial College London; a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School; and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the New York University Law School.
