Change in Board of Directors
Ted Baker PLC (the "Company") announces the retirement of David Hewitt from the Board of the Company with effect from 14 July 2009. David has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since its flotation in July 1997, and, prior to his retirement, was Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.
David Bernstein, who has been a Non-Executive Director since 2003, will succeed David Hewitt as Senior Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, with immediate effect.
Ronald Stewart has been appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee, having enjoyed a suitable period of induction with the Company. Ron has also been appointed a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees.
Robert Breare remains Chairman of the Nomination Committee.
