Chairman, Padraic Fallon

The board of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC is deeply saddened to announce that Padraic Fallon passed away yesterday. He had been fighting cancer for over a year.

Mr Fallon had been chairman of Euromoney since 1992 and announced last year that he planned to retire at the AGM in January 2013. Accordingly, the succession plans announced at the beginning of August will now be accelerated. Richard Ensor, managing director, will take on the role of executive chairman, and Christopher Fordham will succeed Mr Ensor as managing director, both with immediate effect.
