It is the Board's intention to elect David to the position ofChairman following the Company's next AGM in 2006 when current Chairman, JohnGunn, plans to step down but remain a non-executive director. David, aged 47, has held senior positions, including the roles of Chairman andChief Executive, in the telecommunications industry. He has managed businessesranging in size from billion dollar corporations to start-ups and turnaroundsand has significant international experience in Europe, North America and Asia. David began his career with Cable & Wireless, where he spent over 20 yearsworking in the U.K., Asia and the Americas rising to the position of chiefexecutive of Cable & Wireless Global Networks. In 1999 he joined Energis plc aschief operating officer, was appointed to the Board in 2000 and became chiefexecutive in 2001. Since the end of 2002, when his involvement with Energis cameto an end, he has been actively involved in business development and marketingof Telecomms and Technology companies and now serves as a non-executivedirector with three such companies.
