Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC ("Euromoney") today announces that its chairman, Padraic Fallon, has informed the board that he has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment which will require his absence from the company for short periods over the next few months. During the treatment period, Mr Fallon will continue in his role as chairman of Euromoney, while Richard Ensor, Euromoney's managing director, will assume some of Mr Fallon's executive responsibilities and John Botts, a non-executive director of Euromoney, has agreed to act as non-executive chairman on a temporary basis if required.

Euromoney will issue its pre-close trading update on September 23, 2011.
