Cessation of the listing of the Company's ordinary shares on AIM

Cientifica, the AIM quoted investing company focusing on investment in businesses making use of advanced materials, graphene and emerging technologies, provides the following update to its statement re the share trading suspension announced on 17 April 2015.

Cessation of the listing of the Company's ordinary shares on AIM will become effective from 7am on 27 April 2015.

The Directors have met with its key advisers and principal shareholders to consider the Company's position and intend to discuss this with its creditors shortly.

With the support of its principal shareholders, the Directors intend to proceed with the Company's planned new investment projects once additional funding is secured. In the meantime, the Board intends to set up an off market trading facility to be available following the cessation of trading on AIM, which will be administered by JP Jenkins Limited ("Jenkins") who will, where possible, match trades in the Company's ordinary shares between willing buyers and willing sellers, acting as a central point for negotiation between UK stockbrokers. The Board intends to seek to have the Company's ordinary shares listed on a public market in due course, depending on the execution of the Company's strategy going forward and market conditions.

A further announcement will be made following Jenkins' appointment.
