ASX PRICE QUERY
Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited, (AIM / ASX: CFU) a leading developer of high efficiency and low emission microgeneration products for homes, has received a price query from the ASX regarding the recent rise in the share price and volumes.
The Company has previously announced that it is developing a modular generator product using its fuel cell technology and is looking to enter new markets including Australia. The Company plans to officially launch the product within the next week or so. The Company has also previously announced that it is in discussions with potential partners in new markets, including in Europe and Australia.
Other than that the Company is not aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced which, if known, could be an explanation for recent trading in securities of the Company.
The Company does not believe that the details of the planned product or its launch are themselves price-sensitive or likely to be an explanation for recent trading in securities of the Company. Details of discussions with potential partners will be released if and when those discussions result in an agreement.
The Company also notes that, as previously announced, as a result of recent fundraising rounds the number of shares on issue has increased significantly. The Company now has 1,029,873,280 shares on issue. On 11 May there were approximately 11.6M shares traded on ASX, representing only 1% of the total shares on issue.
