CEO Round table

Smith & Nephew plc (LSE: SN, NYSE: SNN), the global medical technology business, announces that, as part of its ongoing communications programme, Dave Illingworth, Chief Executive Officer, will today be holding a routine round table meeting with analysts to discuss the Company's strategy and longer term views on its target markets. A copy of the presentation will be available on the Smith & Nephew website at www.smith-nephew.com later today. No material new information will be disclosed and the Company will give an outlook for 2009 as normal at our Preliminary Results presentation in February 2009.
