3 November 2008 British Gas Business to acquire BizzEnergy customers Centrica plc, through its British Gas Business division, today announced that ithas reached agreement to acquire the customers of BizzEnergy Ltd for a cashconsideration of £3.5 million after the privately-owned energy supplier wastaken into administrative receivership. All of BizzEnergy's 40,000 electricity customers across SME and Corporatemarkets, transferred to British Gas Business under the deal, will maintain theirexisting contract terms and conditions.
