CARLSBERG APPOINTS TANGENT PLC TO PRODUCE "We Deliver More" PORTAL

Carlsberg Group, owners of global brands including Carlsberg, Tuborg and Baltika, has appointed Tangent Communications Plc ("Tangent")(AIM: TNG) to provide the "We Deliver More" solution for Carlsberg sales and marketing in the UK. "We Deliver More" is a concept first devised by Customer Marketing Director David Scott. A web based portal, supported by the "We Deliver More Live" training academy, provides practical advice for Carlsberg's clients on making Savings in business costs such as utilities, People, managing your staff, contracts, recruitment; and Sales, for example how to drive footfall or increase dwell time. Via an 8-step process, the client therefore gains measurable benefits and advice and the portal distinguishes Carlsberg as a supply partner and brand that far outstrips their competitors in their approach to providing genuine client support.

The system is due to re-launch in the UK, with plans to roll out across Europe and subsequently, worldwide, over the next 12 months. Initially, Tangent will commence work on the UK portal.
