Carlisle Airport Update
Further to its announcement on 4 July 2008, the Company provides the following update regarding its option to acquire Carlisle Airport and the planning permission process regarding the site.
Following receipt of a notification from Carlisle Council dated 22 December 2008, the Company anticipates that the planning permission process regarding Carlisle airport will be resolved in the coming weeks, subject to finalisation of a planning related legal agreement.
The Company intends to pursue the exercise of its option and completion of the transaction, which would be subject to shareholder approval, assuming that a satisfactory planning decision notice is received as soon as possible. A further announcement will be made in due course.
