Gooch & Housego PLC (AIM: GHH), the specialist manufacturer of optical components and systems, announces that it is holding a Capital Markets Day for institutional investors and analysts later today.

The event will be focused on "Markets and Technology":

· "Markets" will cover the three market sectors of Industrials, Aerospace & Defence and Life Sciences/Biophotonics.

· "Technology" will feature technology trends and roadmaps, brought to life with case studies in areas such as Space Photonics and Biophotonics.

Members of G&H's senior management team will be in attendance.

G&H has today released, by separate announcement, its scheduled Half Year Trading Update. No new material information on current trading and outlook will be provided at today's Capital Markets Day.
