Capital Markets Day
Countryside Properties plc (the "Group") will be hosting a scheduled event for analysts and institutional investors in London today. We will provide new medium-term guidance and provide updates on each of our Housebuilding and Partnerships divisions.
In addition, we are providing a brief update on current trading year to date as set out below. We will provide a full Q3 trading statement as scheduled on 26 July 2018.
Current trading to week 38 in line with expectations
• Open sales outlets up 25% at 60 (2017: 48)
• Average weekly site visitors up 3% YoY
• Net reservation rate1 at 0.88 (2017: 0.89)
• House price inflation of 3%
• Build cost inflation at 3% to 4%

Medium-term guidance
Given our confidence in the operational performance of the Group and the visibility of future work we will issue new medium-term guidance for the Group, at today's Capital Markets Day:
• Growth in total completions of 10-15%+ per annum;
• Adjusted operating margin of 17%+
• Return on Capital Employed of 35%+

About Countryside
Countryside is a leading UK home builder specialising in place making and urban regeneration. For the year ended 30 September 2017, we completed 3,389 homes with revenues of £1,028.8m.
Our business is focused on place making, which we deliver through our two divisions, Housebuilding and Partnerships. The Housebuilding division, operating under Countryside and Millgate brands, develops sites that provide private and affordable housing, on land owned or controlled by the Group. Our Partnerships division specialises in urban regeneration of public sector land, delivering private and affordable homes by partnering with local authorities and housing associations.
Countryside was founded in 1958. It operates in locations across London, the South East, the North West of England and the West Midlands.
