CAPE WINS SABIC GLOBAL SAFETY AWARD
Cape plc (AIM: CIU), the international provider of essential support services to the energy and natural resources sectors, is pleased to announce that its exemplary safety performance has been recognised by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation ("SABIC") through the award of the "Global Contractor SHE Award - First Place."
SABIC is one of the world's leading manufacturers of commodity and speciality chemicals, polymers, fertilizers and metals. Customers around the world use their products to make consumer and industrial products fundamental to modern life.
The safety award, was presented to Cape by the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed H Al-Mady, in acknowledgement of Cape`s operational safety performance whilst supporting the maintenance activities at the SABIC chemical complex at Wilton, Teesside.
