Cancellation of US$750,000,000 6.75 per cent Bonds due 2016Vedanta Resources PLC (the "Company") hereby announces that as at 25 May 2016 the Company has cancelled US$69,626,000 in nominal value of its US$750,000,000 6.75 per cent. bonds due 2016 (the "Bonds").

Following this cancellation, US$680,374,000 of the nominal value of the Bonds remain outstanding.
