Cancellation of Treasury Shares
The announcement of PME's Total Voting Rights on 30 June 2010 (RNS: 58280), stated that 7,530,000 ordinary shares of USD0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares") were held in treasury following the purchase by the Company of such Ordinary Shares in May and June 2010.
On 5 August 2011, the board of PME adopted a new Treasury Share Policy which provided, inter alia, for the cancellation of Ordinary Shares held in treasury for over 12 months. Therefore, the Company's issued share capital comprises 143,744,752 Ordinary Shares, none of which are held in treasury.
The above figure of 143,744,752 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
