Cancellation of Employee Options

eServGlobal (ASX:ESV, AIM:ESG), a global provider of Mobile Money and Value Added Services, has today resolved to cancel options issued in February 2011 to certain of the Company's employees under the Company's Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP) dated 4 August 2000.
A total of 6,300,000 options are being cancelled, being the balance of all of the options issued under the ESOP in February 2011. None of the options issued (and now being cancelled) have been exercised. No consideration is payable by the Company for the cancellation. The options cancelled include the 1,000,000 options previously advised as expired on 7 February 2012.
The options that remain on issue following the cancellation are set out below and relate to issues under the ESOP in 2007:

The Company intends to seek shareholder approval at the Company's next Annual General Meeting to adopt a new employee share option plan, details of which will be included in the relevant notice of annual general meeting and explanatory memorandum.
