British Airways PLC27 November 2007 British Airways Plc applies to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada London - November 27, 2007 - British Airways Plc announced today that it hasapplied to Canadian securities regulatory authorities for permission to bedeemed to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada. British Airways' American Depository Receipts were voluntarily de-listed fromthe Toronto Stock Exchange in December 2001 and have not traded on a stockexchange in Canada since that time. If released from its obligations as a reporting issuer in Canada, BritishAirways Plc will continue to publish its continuous disclosure documents,including its annual report and accounts, in accordance with applicable laws andregulations in the United Kingdom, including rules of the Financial ServicesAuthority and the London Stock Exchange. Holders of British Airways Plcsecurities resident in Canada will continue to receive copies of continuousdisclosure documents that are required to be delivered to security holders inthe United Kingdom, in the same manner and at the same time as is required underapplicable laws and regulations in the United Kingdom, including rules of theFinancial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange.
