Arrangement of £100m term bank facilities
Further to its preliminary announcement released on 29 May 2008, Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that it has now put in place £100m of committed term bank facilities through a bilateral agreement for a £50m 5-year revolving credit facility with each of ING Bank N.V. and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Whilst there is no immediate plan or requirement to draw down on the funds, these facilities provide the company with resources to take advantage of particularly good investment opportunities which are expected to arise over the medium term.
