Cablevisión Acquires Participation in Nextel from Subsidiary

On 30 June 2016, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that the Board of Directors of its subsidiary Cablevisión S.A. ("Cablevision") had approved the acquisition from its subsidiary Televisión Dirigida S.A., of 392,774,929 membership quotas (cuotas), each with a nominal value of Ps.1 (one Argentine peso) and the right to one vote per quota, representing 48.5% of the capital stock and votes of Nextel Communications Argentina S.R.L., for the aggregate price of Ps. 1,157,100,000, payable in a single instalment on 30 December 2016. The remaining 0.1% of that company was acquired by PEM S.A., another subsidiary of Cablevision, for Ps. 2,900,000, also payable in a single instalment on 30 December 2016.
