Byotrol Plc Distribution Agreements Signed for Healthcare Sector

The Directors of Byotrol plc (the "Company") are pleased to announce that theCompany has entered into two separate distribution agreements with SunChoiceEurope Limited ("SunChoice") and DBM Holdings Ltd ("DBM") to supply Byotrol'sassure product range into the UK care homes market. SunChoice distributes an extensive range of over 5000 products to more than1,000 nursing and residential care homes in the UK. The product range includescleaning and janitorial products, medical consumables, uniforms and patienthandling equipment. SunChoice is wholly owned by Southern Cross Healthcare Groupplc, the largest provider of care homes and long term care beds in the UK, whichoperates over 570 care homes, providing more than 28,000 beds and employingaround 33,000 staff. Based in Edinburgh, DBM supplies products to healthcare and retail markets, witha particular focus on independent care home operators throughout the UK. Byotrol's assure range has been specifically developed for the care homes sectorand comprises disinfectant sprays for use in living areas, kitchens andbathrooms, cleaning and sanitising wipes, and a hand sanitising mousse. TheCompany's patented technology has been proven, through extensive testing, to beeffective in eradicating and controlling a wide range of organisms such as MRSA,c.difficile and e-coli. Byotrol remains active after it has dried, providinganti-microbial protection for extended periods after application and is abletherefore to tackle the practical problems of odours and spoilage caused bymicrobe activity. Byotrol is not toxic to humans and does not require any specialist equipment oralteration to existing cleaning regimens to be effective. A further advantage ofByotrol is also its ultra low alcohol content, compared to competing products,which means it does not dry or irritate the skin when used as a hand sanitiseras part of infection control procedures. The Directors anticipate that the agreements with SunChoice and DBM will make asignificant contribution to the Company's future revenues.
